Northwest Operations Center
The $92 million, 500,000 square foot initial phase of the Sony Northwest Operations Center is scheduled for occupancy Summer 1993.
This facility will provide for a consolidation of the eight Sony business units currently in leased facilities at five locations (thirteen buildings) in San Jose/Sunnyvale area:
- Business and Professional Group
- Component and Computer Products Group
- Sony Microelectronics
- Sony Intelligent Systems
- Sony Semiconductor and Systems Laboratory
- Sony Electronic Publishing
- Consumer Service Center
- Sony Family Center
The 38 acre site at Zanker Road and River Oaks Pkwy is masterplanned for a million square feet with an occupancy of 2600 employees.
